Planning applications and building regulations

Depending on the scope of works some projects may require Local Authority planning permission and or building regulation approval. In addition some projects may also need approval from the local Fire Authority.

As a guide visible changes and extensions usually require planning permission and major structural alterations usually require building regulation approval. Additional rules apply to listed buildings and those in conservation areas.

In the event that planning permission and/or building regulation approval is required we can supply all the necessary documentation to make the application on behalf of the client. Thereafter we can deal with building regulation site visits and planning queries.

Planning applications
Building control
Landlord approvals
Signage permissions
Air conditioning permissions
Change of use applications
Appeals and enforcements
Architectural drawings

As part of the application process we will supply Construction (Design and Management) Regulation statements, Design and Access Statements and if required Environment Statements.

If you are considering a project and are unsure as to whether Local Authority approvals are required feel free to call and we will happily give you some impartial advice.
